MODERN VINTAGE 2 x 50 minute sets with a break or 1 hour 40 minutes straight through.

 

Travel charge: First 50 miles free, then £1 per mile thereafter (round trip). Over 125 miles bed and breakfast accommodation must be provided or £200 contribution. The band is based in Melksham, Wiltshire.

 

NB. The above includes a maximum of six hours time at the venue including one and half hours before the performance for setting up and getting changed and one hour afterwards for breaking down. This time can be extended for an additional fee of £100 per hour.

FAQ

 

What do I need to provide for the band?

 

We're very easily pleased and simply ask for a secure room where we can get changed and leave our valuables, and a meal and drinks for four people to be provided.

 

How much space do you guys need?

 

Generally speaking, an area 3 metres deep by 6 metres wide is ideal but we have been known to squeeze into smaller spaces!

 

Can I choose which songs you play?

 

We offer a unique service where you can request up to 30 songs that you'd love to hear played from our large repertoire. Please give at least one month's notice for any requests. If a song you’d love to hear Modern Vintage play isn’t currently in our repertoire we will learn it for you for a fee of £25 per song.

 

Do you bring your own gear?

 

We provide a self-contained service including a PAT tested PA system (suitable for up to approximately 250 people) and disco lighting. For larger venues a bigger PA can be hired for an additional fee. Rest assured that we understand that the smooth running of your event is paramount and we will endeavour to set up and remove our equipment as efficiently and discretely as possible.

 

What about an iPod disco?

 

Your choice of music can be played via your iPod/iPad through the band's PA in-between sets for no extra charge, and after the concert finishes for an additional fee of £100 per hour.

 

Anything else I need to know?

Modern Vintage possesses £10m Public Liability Insurance.

Please note that we play loud rock music and cannot perform at venues where a sound limiter is in use.

 

If you wish to proceed, subject to availability, we will send you a booking agreement drawn up in conjunction with the Musician's Union. We ask for a 15% deposit paid at the time of booking with the balance paid in cash on the day of the event (prior to the performance) or by cleared cheque funds/bank transfer prior to the date of the event.

 

 The band consists of four experienced musicians. We love what we do and we will do our upmost to provide a service that exceeds your expectations. We are four easy going and friendly guys, yet we remain extremely professional in our approach and we will endeavour to do all we can to make your event as hassle-free as possible. In return we simply ask to be treated with courtesy and respect.
